	The City of Los Angeles has selected UHC to transform an industrial location adjacent to an elementary school in South Los Angeles into a family-friendly residential neighborhood. This five-phase development will provide over 450 affordable rentals and for-sale residences, and community and recreation facilities consistent with the City’s plan for the area. UHC also is collaborating with two local artists to design permanent art installations for the community’s public and outdoor spaces. Construction of Phase I, scheduled to begin in Summer 2009, will include 46 two and three bedroom apartment homes.
